The heat exchanger and condenser cleaned to improve fuel efficiency and to maintain the process conditions for in-spec product. Process vessels and pipes cleaned prior to commissioning to protect sensitive equipment and interconnection to accelerate turnaround maintenance. The determination that the equipment must be cleaned reflect the experience and assessment of past operations, as well as knowledge of current operating conditions.
